Until Arc cards are received, students at these three institutions will need to show their valid student I.D. Students at MacEwan, Norquest and the University of Alberta will receive Arc cards from their post-secondary institution. One Card, so they can tap on/off buses and the LRT. NAIT students will have their U-Pass loaded directly onto their valid student I.D. Starting September 2021, U-Pass will be available through the Arc card, which students will use to tap on/off buses and the LRT around the Edmonton region. Through a partnership of participating transit systems, the pass is offered to students at a participating institution, as a group. U-Pass programs are a group transit pass purchase that gives students enrolled in participating post-secondary institutions unlimited access to local regular transit as well as regional transit services. as proof of payment until Arc cards are distributed by these three post-secondary institutions. Students at MacEwan, Norquest and the University of Alberta can show their valid student I.D. Students at NAIT can use their valid student I.D. U-Pass has been reinstated for the 2021/2022 school year.
